Pipetto was founded in Notting Hill, London in 2007 by Chantal Therien. Initially, Chantal handcrafted western belts and buckles using vintage finds. Towards the end of 2007, Pipetto was launched online and started to gain a small following. A couple of years later, Chantal decided to steer Pipetto in a new direction - technology accessories, and these products began to be sold at the department store Selfridges in November 2009.

In a short span of time, Pipetto has become one of the leading brands in premium iPhone and iPad accessories. Their products are sold in over 6000 stores in more than 36 countries. Pipetto has had design collaborations with the department store Harvey Nichols and even Apple.
