This protective glass is made of optical glass that is chemically hardened at a molecular level. On the inside there is a reinforcing PET film with self-adhesive silicone, which helps the glass adhere to the screen.
The surface is treated to reduce fingerprints, and the material is built to absorb shocks and impacts so that the screen is protected during everyday use. The glass has a specified hardness of 8–9H.
If the protector cracks, the glass shards are held in place by the PET layer, which reduces the risk of sharp pieces against the screen and for you as the phone user.
The protector has a light transmittance with a transparency of 99.7% and a smooth, polished surface that allows the finger to glide easily over the screen.
