How Protective Is It?

Let's face it, an eco-friendly phone case MUST also protect the phone from daily drops... what else is the point? We've tested the Pela case beyond the usual risks of the phone falling out of your pocket, so you can be sure the case does its job.

Materials

The Pela case is made from Flaxstic®, which consists of compostable bioplastic elastomer and flax straw material. Our material has been tested to be safe and free from phthalates, BPA, cadmium, and lead, and has been verified to meet child safety standards in the USA, Canada, Europe, Australia, and New Zealand. Our base material complies with USA. (ASTM D6400-04) and EU (EN 13432) composting standards for industrial composting facilities and has a lower carbon footprint and lower greenhouse gas emissions than traditional plastics. It can also be left for biodegradation in a home composting environment.

Carefully designed to encapsulate the edges to protect the front of your phone. Soft and smooth to the touch without extra bulk.
