This display protector is constructed of four layers. At its core is a thin layer of optical glass that is chemically hardened at the molecular level. On the inside there is a reinforcing PET film with self-adhesive silicone, and the outside has an oil-repellent treatment that reduces fingerprints.
As a protective glass it helps prevent scratches and also resists impacts. In the event of glass breakage, the pieces are held by the PET layer, which reduces the risk of sharp shards.
The Privacy function makes the screen most visible straight on, while it appears darker from the sides. A glass protector with Privacy can be suitable when you want to limit visibility, for example on a bus or in a queue.
Installation is done with the self-adhesive silicone layer: clean the screen, place the protector and press from the middle outward with a soft cloth. Any air bubbles may disappear within 48 hours. When the protective film is in place, the touchscreen sensitivity is not affected.
