This protective glass is made to reduce the risk of scratches during daily use. The protective glass consists of optical glass that is chemically hardened at the molecular level and has a technical hardness comparable to steel.
On the inside there is a reinforcing PET film with a self-adhesive silicone layer. The outside has an oleophobic treatment to resist fingerprints. The protective glass is built to absorb shocks and impacts so that the force is taken by the protector instead of the screen.
If the protective glass should crack, the PET layer keeps the glass shards in place.
For sharpness and color reproduction, the protective glass transmits direct light with a transparency of 99.7%, and the smooth surface allows a finger or a pen to glide easily over the screen.
Installation is done with silicone adhesive: clean the screen, place the protective glass, and press down from the middle outward with a soft cloth. Small air bubbles may disappear on their own within 48 hours.
