The protector is made of optical glass that is chemically tempered. On the inside there is a reinforcing layer of PET film with self-adhesive silicone, and the outside has an oil-repellent surface treatment that resists fingerprints.
As a display protector it is designed to absorb shocks and impacts, so that the force affects the glass instead of the screen. In the event of breakage, glass shards are held in place by the PET layer.
The transparent glass protector has 99.7% transparency and a smooth, polished surface suitable for use with a finger or a stylus. The hardness is specified as 8–9H.
Installation with silicone adhesive: clean the screen thoroughly, position the protective glass correctly and press from the center outward toward the edges with a soft cloth. Air bubbles may disappear within 48 hours.
