The protective glass helps reduce the risk of everyday scratches and acts as an extra layer on top of the screen. The glass protector can also be used together with many cases, thanks to Case friendly.
The layer consists of optical glass that is chemically hardened at the molecular level. On the inside there is a reinforcing PET-film with a self-adhesive silicone layer for mounting. The outside has an oleophobic treatment that resists fingerprints.
The material combination is designed to withstand external impacts, such as shocks and blows, by absorbing the force. If the protective glass were to break, the PET layer helps keep the pieces in place.
Installation is done by cleaning the screen, placing the glass protector correctly and pressing from the center out toward the edges with a soft cloth. Air bubbles may disappear on their own within 48 hours.
