Copter Exoglass is a screen protector with four layers consisting of materials used in the manufacturing of protective glass in the defense industry.
The main component of the screen protector is a thin layer of optical glass that is chemically hardened at a molecular level. This type of glass has a technical hardness comparable to steel. The inner side of the glass is reinforced with a PET film containing a layer of self-adhesive silicone material. The grease-repellent coating on the outside of the glass prevents the formation of fingerprints.
The composite material in the protective glass has a large number of important properties such as contributing to improved optical properties, high mechanical strength, resistance to vibrations and significant temperature variations, as well as moisture resistance and chemical stability. The material also effectively protects against external impacts by absorbing the effects of shocks and impacts.
The operating characteristics of Copter Exoglass work together to guarantee reliable protection for your touchscreen, even under extreme conditions. This means you can save money by avoiding having to replace the touchscreen and/or original glass.
Thanks to the chemical hardening technology used in the production of Copter Exoglass, the glass can reach a hardness level of 8-9H. This means that the protective glass is three times harder than other protective films, and effectively protects the touchscreen against shocks and exposure to chemically aggressive environments.
The tempered protective glass's extra high hardness level means that it is scratch-resistant. Knives, keys, and various sharp objects made of metal and non-metal will simply glide along the surface.
If the protective glass were to break, the small glass fragments will remain in place thanks to the elasticity and strength of the reinforced PET film layer. This means you won't risk cutting yourself and the touchscreen won't be damaged by sharp glass shards.
Copter Exoglass has a directed light transmission with a transparency of 99.7%. The optical properties of the protective glass provide near-total transparency, excellent color reproduction, and comfortable viewing angles. With a lifelike and vivid image without distortions, you get a significantly better viewing experience.
The outside of the protective glass is covered with a thin layer of grease-repellent surface treatment that protects against various kinds of dirt and exposure to chemically aggressive environments. Any dirt can be easily removed from the protective glass using a soft cloth.
The smooth, well-polished surface of the protective glass is pleasant to touch and makes it easy to swipe with your finger or stylus across the screen.
A special, self-adhesive silicone substrate makes it easy to install Copter Exoglass and ensures that the protective glass stays where it should be.
Thanks to the elasticity of the silicone, the application practically happens by itself. All you need to do is clean the screen thoroughly, place the protective glass in the right position on the touchscreen, and then press it firmly using a soft cloth, pulling from the center out towards the edges. Any air bubbles will disappear on their own within 48 hours after the glass is installed.
Once the installation is complete, the gap between the protective glass and the touchscreen will completely disappear. This means the touchscreen will remain just as sensitive to touch as it was before the protective glass was applied.
Whether you use your finger or a stylus to operate the device, you will notice that Copter Exoglass does not affect the original accuracy and sensitivity of the touchscreen.
