The product is a protective glass that helps prevent scratches on the touchscreen during daily use. The glass consists of a thin layer of optical glass that has been chemically hardened at a molecular level.
To keep the glass in place, a self-adhesive silicone layer is used, and the inside is reinforced with a PET film. The surface also has an oleophobic treatment that reduces visible fingerprints.
In the event of shocks and impacts, the glass protector is intended to take the force instead of the screen. If the glass were to break, the pieces are held in place by the reinforced PET layer, which reduces the risk of sharp shards.
Installation is done by cleaning the screen, placing the display protector correctly and pressing it down from the center outward toward the edges with a soft cloth. Small air bubbles may disappear within 48 hours.
