As a protective glass, it helps reduce the risk of scratches during daily use and absorbs impacts to protect the screen.
The glass protector is made of optical glass that is chemically hardened at the molecular level. On the inside there is a PET film with self-adhesive silicone, and on the outside there is an oil-repellent treatment that counteracts fingerprints.
The protective glass has a hardness of 8–9H and is up to three times harder than other protective films. The glass protector is also designed to withstand shocks, sudden temperature changes, moisture and chemical exposure.
If the protective glass should crack, the pieces are held in place by the reinforced PET film, which reduces the risk of cutting yourself.
The glass protector has a transparency of 99.7% for a clear image, and the surface is smooth so that your finger or stylus glides easily across the screen.
Installation is done with the silicone adhesive already on the protector: clean the screen thoroughly, place the glass correctly and press from the center outward toward the edges with a soft cloth. Air bubbles can disappear on their own within 48 hours.
