The core of the product consists of a thin optical glass that has undergone chemical tempering at the molecular level, which gives the glass a technical hardness comparable to steel. On the inside there is a PET film layer reinforced with a self-adhesive silicone material, and the outside is treated with an oil-repellent surface layer that resists fingerprints.

The composite material that the protective glass is made of combines several important properties:

High hardness rating

The chemical tempering technique used in the manufacture of Copter Exoglass allows the glass to achieve a hardness of 8–9H. This means that the protective glass is three times harder than ordinary protective films and can withstand both shocks and chemically aggressive environments — while keeping the mobile screen free from scratches.

Shatter protection

If the protective glass should by chance break, the crushed glass pieces are held in place by the elasticity and strength of the reinforced PET film layer. This means that neither you nor the touchscreen risk being injured by sharp glass shards.

Excellent optical properties

Copter Exoglass offers a directed light transmission with a transparency of 99.7%. It provides almost complete transparency, excellent color reproduction and comfortable viewing angles — resulting in a lifelike and vivid image without distortions. The well-polished, smooth surface is also pleasant to the fingertips and makes it easy to navigate with both finger and stylus.

Silicone adhesive for secure attachment

A specially developed, self-adhesive silicone substrate makes the installation of Copter Exoglass easy and ensures that the protective glass stays in place. Thanks to the natural elasticity of the silicone, the glass is applied almost by itself. The process is simple: clean the screen thoroughly, place the protective glass in the correct position and smooth it down with a soft cloth from the middle out toward the edges. Any air bubbles will resolve automatically within 48 hours after installation.
