Reolink RLA-PS1 is a reliable PoE switch with 8 PoE+ ports (10/100 Mbps) and also 2 Gigabit Ethernet uplink ports (10/100/1000 Mbps). It meets the IEEE802.3af/at standard and can deliver up to 30 W to each PoE port and has a total power budget of 120 W for a maximum of 8 PoE devices.
This switch contains a safety mechanism for power management. When the total allocated power exceeds 120W, the PoE switch shuts down the ports one by one, starting from port 8 and downwards, until the power drops below the switch's capacity.
Reolink RLA-PS1 can automatically detect if the device connected to its ports is a PoE device and whether it thus requires power supply. This avoids direct damage by preventing non-PoE-compatible devices from being subjected to power.
This PoE switch has professional lightning protection that effectively prevents lightning strikes from damaging connected devices and ensures their long lifespan.
Reolink RLA-PS1 works perfectly with your PoE cameras and can transmit both data and power using only one Ethernet cable. The installation is very easy to perform, even for a beginner. The device is designed to meet various needs and can be connected directly to your NVR for higher reliability and security, or connected to the same LAN as your product to support more features on your cameras. The switch can be used in a wide variety of configurations of Reolink products.
Note: The PoE switch only provides network data, but not power, when you connect it to Wi-Fi cameras.
